JI: Finished Printwork

For my printwork I had to design a 6 pane digipak to fit our music video, and the genre connected. It also had to coincide with Luca and Timo's style to keep continuity within our group.

Here is my sleeve design.



This is the front and back cover I designed which I created on Photoshop by imported a photo we took on our recce which I edited using a filter, and added a style of font.



This is the second and third pane to the digipak, also designed on Photoshop with the same effects.

LF: Print Work Editing Process

Today I have spent the lesson editing my pictures that I captured in yesterdays shoot. I started by erasing the brick wall behind all of the images to get a clear outline of all the band members.

I then created a simple black background and positioned the members of the boy band close to each other so they were the centre focus of the image. I decided to use a cut out filter to coincide with the rest of the groups print work and increase the contrast on the images to cover the right hand side of the face. For the tile I used a font names Beast Machines to create a bold JLT.

TB: Final Media Print Work

This is my final print work, I am proud of my work and feel it is coherant with all other print work sumbitted from our group.

Even though my final print work significantly differs from my rough piece, I have interegreted some aspects into my final piece. The first is that I have learned from my initial rough photo and have carefully chosen the background (backdrop of London), rather than not considering the other objects in frame.

Another aspect I have used from the learning experience of my rough print work is further using font to convey meaning and connotation. The font and colour used in my final print work is closely matched to that of JLS, with the colour being the exact same.

LF: Print Work Shoot

Today we completed a photo shoot that we hope to include throughout our print work. We used a simple brick wall and captured the images in black and white using a quick shutter speed, i am looking to place all three images on a simple black background with a silver graphic running across the back ground. All three members will be situated according to the rule of thirds.

JI: Printwork update

I have also been working on my print work today for our JLT digipak idea. Here are a couple of screen shots from my plans.

With only one day left until the deadline, today we have been ruthlessly editing our footage, chopping and cutting clips to perfect our video. Here is a cut of our video with one day to go.



Tomorrow we will just go through the footage making any last alterations we feel our needed.

Today in the lesson I:

• Filmed some filler shots with James using numerous apparatus such as a dolly and a track.
• Helped James with editing the footage.
• Uploaded pictures of our night shoot onto Photo shop.
• Created a rough print work poster.
• Found the location to capture our pictures for the print work.
